The owner, Agnese, is so friendly and kind. She can help if you're unsure what to do, where to go, or how to plan a list of places to visit, so don't hesitate to ask. Bacchetta means wand in Italian, and this really does feel a bit magical. There's silence, nature, comfort, and everything you could want. It's also close to Assisi, about 3 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot. My family and I would definitely stay again!

The room was nicely equipped and well kept, and the atmosphere was lovely. It's a great base for exploring Umbria, about a 20-minute walk from the center of Assisi. Highly recommended!

Agnese greeted us when we first arrived in the city, which made for a lovely welcome. It's just a kilometer from the Old Town, an easy twenty-minute walk away, and felt safe at any hour. We could sit quietly among the olive groves and in the front yard, with especially beautiful sunsets. If you want more privacy, quiet, and nature than the touristy Old Town offers, this would be a great fit. I think they sometimes have yoga classes outdoors or indoors, so ask your host about a special healing session.
