The rooms are on the small side, but have what you need: a comfortable bed, fridge, and air conditioning. It’s a relaxing place, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is welcoming too, and the food there is the best.

The room was okay, though dated, and the AC leaked, leaving a puddle on the floor below it. I hung up my towel, but it was gone when I checked at the next stop. I asked about it and got no response. Communication was poor before the stay too: I tried by phone and email to confirm EV charging, but never heard back. There was no charger when I visited in August 2021, despite what Google Maps showed.

Just outside the old city of Asis, this hotel has a lovely pool. The food was excellent and the service was great.

A lovely pool and handy private parking, with friendly staff and excellent food. It’s well placed for visiting Assisi and the nearby area, and there’s a very convenient bus stop for getting into Assisi. The shower felt cramped and could use an improvement, but I’ll definitely come back.

You can see Assisi from the hotel, which is on the main road in Santa Maria degli Angeli. We had dinner there and enjoyed excellent meat and seafood dishes. Service was quick and the price fair. Well done to all the staff.
