L Attico BB

The owner was very kind and gave helpful suggestions for places to visit and eat. The penthouse has a comfortable, clean room with air conditioning and a modern private bathroom, plus a splendid view over Assisi. It's not in the historic center, but the 15-minute walk there is pleasant. The bus route, train station, and other transport links are close by.

Several nearby restaurants serve traditional Umbrian food, and the train and bus stations are very close, so getting around is easy. The place is beautifully furnished and impeccably clean. Its best feature is the breathtaking, postcard-like view from the window. A lovely base for visiting the city of San Francesco.

The apartment is clean, cozy, and well stocked with food. Heating and Wi-Fi work, and there's a duvet on the bed. Some things need attention: the furnishings are a bit dated, the sink faucet drips, the toilet seat is loose, one lampshade is burned out, and the freezer has a thick layer of ice. The sofa cover and sheets are wrinkled but clean. If the owner isn't there, getting into the apartment turns into a scavenger hunt, though the formal check-in and check-out are simple.

It's easy to get to Assisi from here, and public transport connections are good. The rooms are clean and very well appointed, and the place feels welcoming. The view is breathtaking. Highly recommended!
