Our dog could wander around the garden safely, which made the stay easy for us. The garden is lovely and large, and the rooms were very clean. The place is quiet, spacious, and well connected to the area's main sights. The manager was warm and did her best to help with any difficulties we had. Since the two units share the garden, guests with dogs may need to be considerate of each other, though it wasn't an issue for us. We'd gladly recommend it.

We came for nine nights and already wish we could stay longer. Casa dell'Alloro has charming decor, plenty of space, and all the amenities we needed, and the hosts are wonderfully warm. It also made a great base for seeing Umbria, with Assisi and lots of lovely villages and hiking trails nearby. It feels like paradise.

That fenced garden and stone barbecue made this a great fit for us and our four-legged friends. The house works really well for a trip with family or friends, and you can enjoy the greenery away from city life and tourist crowds while still exploring Umbria. The owner was a real highlight, so friendly and helpful, and always ready with suggestions for lovely places to see. I'd stay here again if I came back to Umbria.

We loved the big fenced garden most of all, especially with our dogs, and the stone barbecue was a nice feature. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and cool. We spent three days here just outside Assisi with friends, then took trips to Perugia, Marmore Falls, Spoleto, Clitunno Springs, and Assisi. It was easy to reach different towns while still enjoying nature and avoiding the tourist bustle.

We stayed in the smaller of the two houses and found everything we needed, from coffee and breakfast to the basics for cooking. There is also a pleasant terrace at the back for meals. The house was spotless, the owners were helpful, and we had no complaints about how the two houses were managed.
