La Settima Luna Hotel

The beds were comfortable, and the reception staff were friendly. They were also flexible about check-in and arranging a pickup from the port. I liked the location and interior, and it would be a nice choice for a romantic stay. Breakfast and the other amenities were limited, though, and the menu wasn’t very clear. It felt a little pricey for what was included. There’s a 10% discount at some restaurants in town, but we weren’t told about it.

We had a great three-night stay. The rooms and facilities were clean and modern, and the staff were welcoming and accommodating. Since we had to check out early on our last morning, they left breakfast outside our door the evening before. Really couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I came here to unwind and cut down on the stress of my busy life in central London, and it was exactly the kind of relaxing, elegant place I needed. The rooftop bar’s little pool was a lovely extra. Everyone on staff was wonderful and made me feel at home. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Our premium room looked straight onto a wall. There was no natural light or view, and we spent four nights facing it. I checked the website and couldn’t find a photo of the room we were given, even though the pictures are well shot. They also give a misleading impression of what to expect. When you come to the islands, you hope to see something beyond a wall, even just the town, water, or a plant. The staff were nice, but Cannetto has little going on, and Lipari is half an hour away. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.
