We were made to feel very welcome, with kind and attentive service. Our room was comfortable, and breakfast was both plentiful and good quality. We spent three days at this beautiful spot surrounded by nature, and had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

We had such a good time at Locanda dell'Angelo with Eugenio and his family for New Year's Eve. My sister, a friend, our little dog and I stayed there and celebrated with a menu cooked by Eugenio's mother. There was singing, dancing, bingo and so much good food, maybe even a bit too much 😁. The place sits in the foothills a few kilometers from Assisi, with stunning views. It was a friendly, family atmosphere and the price was reasonable. We told ourselves we'd come back in summer and make the most of that lovely pool.

The breakfast buffet has plenty to choose from: tarts, cakes, jam biscuits, fresh and dried fruit, yogurt, and even a juicer for fresh orange juice. Eugenio also pays attention to guests' dietary needs. You can buy delicious organic extra virgin olive oil here, too. It's a lovely spot for relaxing among nature. Eugenio welcomes you warmly and lets you take in the valley and Santa Maria degli Angeli from the terrace. The farmhouse has an outdoor pool and a small consecrated chapel dedicated to the Madonna del Carmine, built in 1333.
