B&B O'Sole e'Napule

We spent a week at this B&B and had a fantastic time. It’s on via dei Tribunali, a street with plenty of history, and close to the train station, which made getting to Pompeii easy. There’s a lot to take in along the street, though watch out for the traffic. The B&B sits in a residential area. The owners were lovely and welcoming. When we arrived, the owner made us an Italian espresso, gave us a Napoli map, and pointed us toward things to do the next day. They’d also arranged a pickup from the airport straight to the B&B. Breakfast was set out buffet-style each morning, with juice, water, milk, yogurt, cookies and cake, croissants, and toast with jam and Nutella. Coffee was freshly made just how you wanted it. The open breakfast area is cute, the place was clean, and the beds were comfortable. You really get a feel for Italian city life here, and I’d strongly recommend it for the hospitality and its proximity to Napoli’s historic and cultural spots.

This is a nice option if you want to stay in a historic building in the middle of Napoli's old center and get a local feel. The basics are covered and the service is responsive. Just don't expect luxury.

The host was really kind and went out to buy me a converter when mine broke. He didn’t speak English, but we managed to communicate using his phone. It’s close to the main train station. They only accept cash, and breakfast isn’t being served at the moment.

A simple, quiet place in a great spot, with a lot of history to it. The rooms have AC, which is great for summer in Italy, though the bathroom is shared.
