Relais Parco Dei Cavalieri Assisi

Our room was spacious and clean, and the people gave us a lovely welcome. Although it’s beside the road, the area isn’t busy, so we could relax. We enjoyed sitting in the garden among the big trees in the evening. We only stayed one night, but would have stayed longer if we could. Breakfast came with a nice egg and a smile. Thanks!

A peaceful garden setting, just minutes from Assisi, makes this a lovely place to stay. Hotel Parco dei Cavalieri is tucked into a beautiful 15th-century villa, with its historic character well preserved. The rooms have elegant, traditional Italian furnishings that give them a warm, authentic feel. The staff were consistently welcoming, professional, and ready to help with a smile. There’s also an in-house restaurant serving delicious local food. A wonderful mix of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended.

*add on* We did manage to connect to the internet, but the signal in our room was too weak to use. It worked only in the public area. We spoke with other guests, and they had the same problem. The location is great, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations. It was a very good experience overall, but I’m taking off one star for two things: there was no usable Wi-Fi in the room, which is a total no-go in 2025, and the noise from speeding cars, especially motorbikes accelerating and racing right in front of the hotel, was very disturbing.

The hotel is in a romantic old building, renovated to modern standards. The rooms have a consistent style and have been nicely redone, with classic interiors and English country-style bathrooms. It was very quiet in the off-season, and the hotel is conveniently close to the airport. There’s a small TV and Wi-Fi in the room, good lunch, and very friendly staff. Just keep in mind there’s no elevator and the hotel has 3 floors.
