Cascina Pontetto

The setting has been renovated, and the location is handy, just outside Asti and near the highway. My room, number 6 on the first floor, had a very well-equipped kitchenette. But with 37 degrees outside, the air conditioning didn’t work, and we couldn’t use it. The little fridge had been switched on too late, so it only got cold by the next morning. The bathroom was clean and convenient to use, but smelled terribly of sewage. I definitely won’t be back.

Quiet, very clean, comfortable rooms, and all the basic comforts for a couple of days. The location is handy too, near the highway entrance and exit, with various restaurants a few kilometers away.

Breakfast isn’t included, but there’s a café and a well-stocked vending machine nearby. The private parking has an automatic gate, and the place is conveniently located near both the city center and highway. I came across it online and called; Mrs. Patrizia was able to arrange a single room right away. She was professional, kind, and helpful when I arrived. The room was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed, a top-notch pillow, soft scented towels, a hairdryer, and a large bathroom with a roomy sliding glass shower. Excellent value for money, I’d recommend it.

The rooms were very clean and had air conditioning. It’s convenient for the motorway and close to the centre of Asti. They were really friendly and happy to offer tips on restaurants and other things.
