I was first disappointed that we couldn't get a room at the hotel attached to the San Giovanni Terme hot springs, where we were spending the weekend. Then we found this place, just a five-minute walk from the springs, and I'm glad we did. The host replied to our emails quickly and was so friendly and accommodating. The pictures looked nice, but staying here felt better than the resort, like being at a close friend's home. The gardens were a dream and breakfast was phenomenal. I could keep going, but it's a place you really have to see for yourself. If you're in Tuscany, spend a night here.

We booked a room so we could visit the thermal pools and the countryside. The hotel is beautiful, and the hospitality was unmatched. We found relaxing in the garden even more restful and enjoyable than visiting the nearby thermal pools. We'll recommend it to friends and family, and plan to come back.

We paid a good price for the stay, and the managers were friendly, very welcoming Tuscan hosts. It's a small, friendly hotel just 300 metres from Terme di San Giovanni, about a ten-minute walk, so we could leave the car in the hotel parking. We had a really good short break together. My room, number 9, was spacious, with a clean bathroom and a good shower. Breakfast was a little simple, but you can enjoy it in the nice garden while looking out over the wonderful Crete Senesi countryside.

Nice place in a good location. The pools made the high prices feel worthwhile. People do put the white stuff on their faces, though, and I wouldn't recommend it.
