Hotel Lis

The staff are gentle and polite, the rooms are lovely, and breakfast might be the best in Italy. Everything felt special, and the hospitality was superb. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, in Asti or anywhere in Europe. I’d recommend booking lis hotel if you’re coming to Asti. 10/10.

The breakfast was a real highlight: plenty of fresh food, local products, a good range, and everything baked in-house. Hotel Lis also has a handy spot, near enough to walk to Asti’s historic center while still being quiet enough for a restful night. The rooms were clean, well kept, and more spacious than I expected. Thoughtful details, good linens, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind after exploring Asti and the surrounding area. Staff were warm from the start, with personal, attentive service that felt very professional. For a three-star place, Hotel Lis gave us a stay well above expectations. It’s comfortable and good value, whether you’re here for work or a holiday. I’m a former travel guide inspector, and I’d recommend it.

The staff’s hospitality was outstanding, and the quiet, comfortable rooms made for a good rest. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel, and I travel a lot. The hotel sits by a lovely park on a quiet street, close to the city center and with plenty of amenities nearby. Palaces and museums are an easy walk, and you can even get to the train station without a car or taxi. I think it’s the nicest hotel in Asti, maybe the region, and I’ll stay here again on my next visit.

We stayed two nights while touring Italy, and this was easily our favorite place. The staff went out of their way to help with our luggage and make things pleasant. The rooms are large and spacious. Not every room has a great view, but the very comfortable beds and the bottles of wine we were given more than made up for that. Breakfast was fantastic on both mornings, with cakes, eggs, meats, cheeses, lots of fresh bread, and juices made for you. There are several nearby restaurants with tasty food at great prices, and a lovely park close by. We had a great stay, and a big thank you to the staff. Grazie mille!
