Right beside the A2/E45 freeway, the location is handy for reaching the Naples area or the towns in Basilicata. I didn't eat here or intend to spend time nearby, so I can't really speak to either. But if you just need a roomy place to sleep before traveling the next day, it works well.

The rooms were very clean, the staff were friendly, and the waiter service was great. Still, it was freezing because the air conditioning was centrally controlled and we couldn't switch on the heat. There wasn't a kettle in the room either, and when we asked for water, a small cup cost 3 euros. Breakfast was poor, and there was a noisy party on Saturday.

The stale breakfast and disappointing dinner didn't help. My fruit salad dessert was just a bunch of old grapes. There were hardly any other hotel guests, while outside visitors who weren't paying used the green-colored pool all day. Strange cots were kept in the dark corridors. We had to move to an upgraded room because the first one smelled so bad, and only four rooms had working air conditioning. The windows couldn't be opened, and the wardrobe hangers were so high you'd need to be eight feet tall to reach them. This was the worst and scariest hotel we've stayed in. I'm leaving this review because suspiciously many earlier five-star reviewers had only written one review before. I'd stay somewhere else unless you like the Bates Motel.

The seafood antipasto was delicious, and my children loved the pizza. We also enjoyed the relaxing pool and found the rooms very neat and comfortable. The service was excellent, the staff fantastic, and the location hard to beat. It's a true gem, with a well-trained team and delicious food. I recommend it completely.

Dinner was delicious, while breakfast was a little weaker but still decent. The crew were friendly and helpful, though communication could be difficult if you don't speak Italian. For a low price, it feels like a top-notch hotel. A real extravagance for the cost.
