We loved how close the house is to a small private beach and a marina where you can dock your boat. It was spotless, and the owners went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. They speak English, too. The house itself is the cutest, with just about anything you might want to use and even board games. Great location! We’d happily recommend it and definitely plan to come back.
A cozy, loving little house.
The place is in terrible condition now: broken things, a dirty apartment, rusty utensils, and rotten food in the fridge. The management is just as bad. We’ve handed everything over to a lawyer, but the registered letters keep coming back because the recipients supposedly can’t be found. It’s no coincidence that the good reviews are very old, and most of those users "strangely" have only one review. What a shame. Stay away.
The house is part of a huge complex, with the beach right below. It’s a great rental for a really low price, and you can see Mount Etna and a little of the sea. They leave sheets, towels, a toothbrush, pasta, breakfast for two days, and board games.
Emilio and Fabrizio made us feel very welcome, even though they’re young. They left Easter chocolates, flowers, a bottle of wine, local liqueur, and other things for us. The beach house was lovely and must be even nicer in warmer weather. Its location works well for exploring eastern Sicily: Mount Etna and Taormina are an hour away, Syracuse is 30 minutes away, and there’s more to see. Thanks, Emilio and Fabrizio!
