We loved waking up to the sunrises, which at this time of year you can watch right from bed. The two-bedroom apartment is beautiful, with an en-suite bathroom for each room. You can get straight to the sea, and even in mid-November we swam every day because the water was over 20°C. The owners are friendly and helpful, and there's a well-stocked supermarket just five minutes away on foot. We'd definitely come back.

You do need a car here, but the spot is handy for day trips, halfway between Catania and Syracuse. We reached Catania, Syracuse, Taormina, Modica, Noto, Scicli, and Mount Etna. The local bakery and a large market are close by. Best of all was being near the sea and going snorkeling in the mornings. We saw lots of colorful fish and even moray eels. At midday, head left and paddle out a little for the fish; in the morning, go right from the entry and exit platform, just a few meters out, to look among the rocks for moray eels. Swimming shoes are a good idea. 🤿 The apartment was new, clean, and had everything we needed. Big windows gave us a lovely sea view from early in the day, making breakfast even nicer. The owners were so kind and helpful. We had a wonderful nine days and hated leaving. Federica, thanks for a lovely stay ❤️. You have a wonderful place.

From the apartment you get a stunning sea view and lovely sunrises. It's comfortable for two and can also work for up to two young children. There's plenty of equipment, including a washing machine, so you can stay dry for over 15 days without packing heavy luggage.

We stayed from late June into July 2021. The welcome was excellent, and the place was even more beautiful than the description suggested. It's in Augusta, on the far side of the hills above town and the salt flats, facing the open sea, right on the cliff. Besides the platform in front of the house, there are several other ways down to the water. Swimmers and snorkelers can simply get in. The seabed has lots of fish and is varied, with big and small rocks that have broken away from the cliff over time. There are two units: one has sea and lighthouse views from both bedrooms, each with a bathroom; the other has a large sea-facing terrace. The rooms are new and well furnished, with smart TVs and Wi-Fi, and parking is available. All in all, a very positive stay.
