Meublè Bar Giustina

Our room was on the small side, but worked well for two people with a couple of bags and backpacks. It was clean, as was the bathroom, and there was plenty of clothes storage plus a desk. We didn't book a balcony room, but could use the shared balcony and a lovely patio. Breakfast was good: yogurt, croissants, coffee and juice. If you want a big breakfast, plan accordingly. The owner was great, and his bar is open in the afternoon for a beer or spritz. It's a handy base for hiking and visiting the Dolomites. The main sites and trails took around 30-45 minutes to reach, depending on the wait and crowds. We liked being able to walk around town and get to restaurants on foot, with more options a quick drive away. The lake is beautiful.

Gigi was friendly and easy to reach, and the place felt warm and cozy. The rooms were refreshed every day and cleanliness was irreproachable. It's a small family town with a few good restaurants, and hiking trails are no more than an hour away by car. Good value for money. We would have liked some savory breakfast choices like ham and cheese. Still, we appreciated the no-waste approach, so breakfast was good all in all.

Gigi deserves my sincere thanks. I arrived during the off season without any information and was really lost. Since I don't speak any Italian, he helped connect me with the right person and handled the communication. The room was very clean, had all the necessities, and looked out onto beautiful mountains.
