Haus Hafner

The best part was how much Haus Hafner felt like staying with a friend in their home, rather than being at a hotel. Martha is a wonderful host, and even though my girlfriend and I don't speak German or Italian, she did her best to help us in English. She made sure we were satisfied with the excellent breakfast before heading out for a hike or ski adventure. The accommodation was just what we expected, and more, and the location gave us a quiet mountain village setting, with the lift up to the Alps only a few minutes away. Merano is a 15-20 minute drive, so it still felt easy to get there while enjoying a secluded, peaceful stay. We were very pleased with both the service and the location, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm holiday spot any time of year.

The bus stop is close by, so getting to different destinations was easy, and the setting is quiet but still convenient. Our accommodation was cozy and very clean. What stayed with us most was how warmly the hosts looked after us. They were always available and helpful, and you could tell our well-being mattered to them. We felt welcome right away, not just like guests, and really enjoyed our week. We'll remember it for a long time. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

We spent three days skiing at Merano 2000 for the first time. The owners were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home in this lovely place. Really kind people. Highly recommend.
