Having private, gated parking made the place feel secure, and the grounds, including the pool area, looked lovely for a warmer-season visit. Our room was spacious, modern, and very clean. The reception and breakfast staff were both friendly. Nothing to complain about.

The hotel has a pool for summer, though my March stay was too chilly for swimming. There’s also a restaurant next door, part of the complex, which is handy. I found it peaceful, a good choice if you’re a light sleeper, and the rooms were very comfortable. From the windows and balconies you get lovely views, with Gran Sasso as the main feature.

Hotel Della Piana has become our favorite place to stay when we come from America to Avezzano to visit family every few years. The breakfast buffet has a wonderful range of tasty things, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Rooms are spacious and spotless, with exceptional housekeeping. The grounds are beautiful, and the staff go out of their way to make us feel at home. We always enjoy staying here and look forward to coming back.

We booked on a whim and were amazed by how nice this place was. Everyone on staff was really kind and helpful, and it was very clean. I could easily stay here for a month.

A car makes this hotel a good option, since it's right off the Autostrada. There are national parks nearby and quite a few really good restaurants around. The hotel is thoughtfully designed and furnished, with a peaceful feel. Breakfast is served daily until 10:30 and has a great variety.
