The shower curtain was moldy and kept moving around, so water splashed everywhere. Breakfast was one of the worst I've had, and dinner didn't feel worth the price either. The room was dirty and smelled bad, with an old carpet. It was unbearably hot: the AC didn't work, blew hot air over the bed, and I couldn't switch it off. The bed felt like a hard box, and the pillow was so flat I had to prop it up with my clothes. I almost slept in the car. Not worth the money, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The location is wonderful, and some of the contemporary architectural details are interesting. For the price, the quality is among the best I've come across. The owner's kindness alone deserves five stars.

The La Torre family made us feel like we were part of their family. For us, travel is really about the people you meet and the moments you make and share, and this was our best experience in Italy and Basilicata. We highly recommend staying here and will be back.

Best value for the price anywhere in Basilicata. The host was welcoming, attentive, and full of character. The homemade traditional local food is the real thing. Ivan & Stefania

The owners are lovely, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there's a nice view of the surrounding hills. We found the hotel and restaurant very good for the price. It's a great base for exploring nearby, or just for an overnight stop.
