The pool and the beautiful natural surroundings grabbed us straight away, and the restaurant served delicious food with great service. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the friendly, professional staff make the place feel caring and relaxed. We’ll definitely come back. It’s a wonderful place to be.

The breakfasts were delicious, and the spa was excellent. We loved the clean, well-kept rooms and the friendly staff, too. The grounds are lovely, with lemon groves all around, and the beach is only a short bike ride away. We highly recommend Agroturismo Chiusa di Carlo and will definitely return.

There are just 14 rooms on this family-run place, set across 40 hectares of farmland with lemons, oranges and olives. You can wander around on the free bikes, then relax in the small, romantic spa or soak up the “gattopardo” feel of a real 200-year-old Sicilian “baglio.” The staff are friendly and professional, and you can tell they care about their work. The cocktails are exquisite and artisanal, served in a bar that feels like a winter garden or out by the pool. Such a relaxing hotel.

We loved spending time by the pool, tucked into a garden of lemon trees and palms, where you can order really good drinks, salads and panini. Our Junior Suite was modern, clean and beautiful, with an open-air whirlpool. The Agriturismo is peaceful and close to the sea, with lovely cliffs and a small beach you can reach on foot or by bike. Fontane Bianche is about a 10-minute drive away. The staff were so welcoming, especially barman Paolo, gardener Tonino and the women in the breakfast room and patio. Cantina Baroni has a lovely romantic atmosphere in the old “baglio,” and the food was delicious. I’d have liked a deeper clean of the terrace and whirlpool, plus more modern loungers and umbrellas by the pool. Otherwise, a perfect stay.
