Azalo Country House

The setting was beautiful, looking down the valley across olive groves to the sea, and the pool was gorgeous. Breakfast was a nice buffet, and Noto is a quick drive away. The coastal nature reserves, beaches, and hilltop towns are also within easy reach. We tried walking into Noto, but wouldn't recommend it, so be ready to drive for meals. We'd highly recommend la muse. I still felt it was a bit expensive for what we got because of a few minor problems. The bathroom window had no blind, so from the shower you could look straight into the next room's kitchen. There were millipedes in our room, and they didn't change the towels even though they had told us they would. It was a shame, given how lovely the setting was.

Lorenzo and Roberto have thought of the little details, from the organic olive oil to keeping everything clean and in good shape. They're warm, attentive, and generous hosts, and the breakfast staff were considerate, friendly, and very professional. Breakfast with local ingredients is an option if you want it, though you can also be completely independent in your own part of the house. Our spacious accommodation felt like a small studio, and we quickly felt at home. The decor and lighting, indoors and out, were tasteful, and the air conditioning worked really well on hot days. We didn't miss a thing. The pool area is lush, private, and peaceful, great for unwinding. Set on a large, beautifully framed property among fragrant herbs and olive trees dating from the turn of the century, the view was soothing. Azalo is a warm, soulful, peaceful place where the heart of Sicily feels close. It's only 5 minutes by car from beautiful Noto. There's room for quiet time with your companion or family, as well as for socializing. The hosts arrange themed evenings, and you can choose whether to join in or relax and enjoy the calm.

I recently spent four lovely days at Azalo Country House in Noto this September, and it was an unforgettable stay. Roberto and Lorenzo were polite, attentive hosts who made me feel at home and made sure everything was just right. The place itself was breathtaking, surrounded by lush, picturesque nature. Its peaceful atmosphere gave me a chance to fully unwind and get away from the rush of everyday life.
