Costa Sicula

I stayed five nights at Costa Sicula halfway through a two-month trip around Southern Italy, looking for a seaside town where I could just relax. It's a lovely little family-run hotel in a great spot, about 2-3 minutes on foot from the sea wall and maybe 5 minutes from the nearest beach. That beach has a restaurant with sunbeds, as well as a free area. The water is crystal clear and the beach is beautiful, a great place for families. There's a lovely old fishing marina about a 15-minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants. You can also find small restaurants and cute street food vans within a 5-20 minute walk, and the main centre is around 15 minutes away too. Breakfast was nice and served on a lovely roof terrace with views of the sea and mountains. My room and bathroom were a good size, the bed was really comfortable, and it was made up every day. The staff made the stay. Tonino was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, and the ladies looking after breakfast were sweet and kind. I'd definitely recommend the hotel for an affordable, relaxing seaside break in Avola.

Avola was fantastic, safe, and full of wonderful restaurants that would delight food lovers. There weren't hotels, and most visitors were Italians, so we got a glimpse of daily local life. Our stay at BB Costa Sicula was wonderful in every way: it's very close to the beach, and the house was clean and well maintained. Our room had a lovely sea-view terrace and very comfortable beds. The two lovely staff members served a delicious breakfast on the terrace. Tonino, the owner, was the best host I've ever met. He was communicative, kind, and helpful in every situation. We couldn't have picked a better place. I recommend BB Costa Sicula with all my heart, and I'll definitely return one day.

Our week at B & B Costa Sicula in Avola was perfect. The host was super nice and helpful, and the hotel was very clean and smelled lovely. Each evening, we could choose from plenty of breakfast options for the next morning. I especially liked the croissants. The small beach is about a 2-3 minute walk away.

I feel very lucky to have picked this B&B. Tonino was extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast was fresh and made with local products. It was a wonderful experience, and when I go to Avola, this will absolutely be my choice.
