I'm sharing what happened during my stay at IUTA Farm from October 6-8, 2025. There were about 30 millipedes in the room at night, and I couldn't rest properly. The host first denied that the hole could be in the room, then later suggested the insects might be coming from a bathroom drain. The room was checked only once, and we were told the problem was fixed, even though it affected both nights. Even though cleaning staff weren't available after 2 p.m. and nobody could help us that evening, they still insist they “did their best.” At checkout, they promised to refund one night and confirmed that to Booking.com. After two weeks without hearing anything, they changed their account and refused to refund us. It felt dishonest and unprofessional. I have photos of the insects and screenshots of the refund agreement. This account is based on facts, not emotion, and future guests should know how it was handled. They did offer us a free meal worth about €100 as “compensation,” but we couldn't sleep for two nights or even unpack our luggage.

The facilities were extremely nice, with spacious, comfortable rooms, a great yoga platform, and a refreshing pool that isn't heated. The staff were very kind. A few small things, in this order. Breakfast was limited, and nobody asked what we preferred or offered extras or seconds. We do sports beforehand and want a substantial breakfast, though it was fine for the price we paid. Oh my god, what an amazing place! Beatrice, the host, is such a lovely person, and hospitality really is her second name. We had a wonderful time. If you're looking for a couple of peaceful, quiet days, I recommend it. No doubts, just book!

The vegetarian menu turned out to be the best food I've had in Italy so far, which honestly surprised me. This is a charming little boutique hotel and a must-see stop on a Sicily trip. There were lots of Korean guests while we were there because of a famous Korean vlogger, which was great to see.

We used IUTA glamping as a base for exploring nearby towns, and having a rental car made getting around easy. Our five-day stay felt like a dream. The suite had lovely decor, a peaceful, upscale feel, and its own plunge pool. In the afternoons we enjoyed the saltwater pool, plus fresh local food and drinks. Beatrice was managing the hotel during our stay and was warm and helpful. She suggested places to visit and eat in nearby towns, and even helped book reservations. We hope to return to IUTA soon.
