La Maddalena

The breakfasts are fabulous, generous, and different each day. Maddalena also helped us with information and suggestions. I’ve come back to this property after a year, and she manages it wonderfully. It’s very close to the beach and the Avola tuna fishery, and the rooms are clean and tidy. I highly recommend it!

The welcome was really friendly and attentive, and the woman was very helpful with explanations and recommendations. The room was well air-conditioned, and having a fridge and freezer was great. The breakfast setup was perfect. The Wi-Fi needs a different subscription because reception is poor. Cleaning by the balcony needs work too, it was unpleasant to see from the balcony, and planter boxes could help divide the shelters for neighboring rooms. Since this is an apartment-style room, the toilets are separate and placed opposite each room, with screens, which takes some getting used to.

The rooms have bathrooms outside the room, so it’s fine if you’re able to adapt to that. The B&B is well located near the sea, and Maddalena was excellent in her welcome and kindness.

The room and bathroom were spotless during our five-night stay. Benedetta brought us a fantastic breakfast every day, with generous portions and lots of local specialties. The lady at the property was very friendly and always available. Highly recommended!
