A service-minded host and a great-value stay in a hotel with a classic Alpine look inside and out. Breakfast was the usual Italian style, with cakes, white bread and good coffee. The town only has three restaurants, and they get very busy, so book a table ahead.

The mountain views are breathtaking, and the staff were pleasant and really caring. The owner was a great host, helping with everything from buying a ski pass to figuring out when and how to travel, where to eat, and what else to do. I highly recommend visiting.

Once we found it, the place was amazing, and the receptionist was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious too. Getting there was another story: Google Maps led us astray, and it took half an hour to find the hotel. Luckily, my wife called and got directions. The downside was the guest in the room next to ours smoking all night. We could smell it the whole time.

We spent four nights here and found the prices moderate. The owner was very professional, the hotel was spotless, and breakfast was great. We also felt safe with the Covid-19 measures in place. The location worked well, and I’d recommend it.

They say there’s a sauna and a fitness room, but we didn’t get either. The website makes the hotel look much better than it is in person.
