We came across this little mountain refuge while skiing in Champoluc over Christmas 2024. It's a bit off the piste, but the small detour is worth it. We ate at the restaurant, though they also have rooms. The rustic dining room is cosy, the food outstanding, and the service warm and friendly. Highly recommended.

Loved having lunch here. It's the real deal, home-cooked mountain food in a secluded spot. We ended up staying until 4pm!

We had a wonderful six-night stay. Dinner was consistently very good, with lots of options, including vegetarian dishes. The staff were welcoming and kind without hovering, and the place felt homey, not pretentious. Breakfast could have had a little more variety, though we could order eggs the way we liked each day. We'd happily stay again.

The restaurant was the highlight for me. Every dish was at least very good, and the tagliata beef steak and panna cotta were the best I've had in many years of travelling in Italy and elsewhere. The rooms were tastefully restored, practical, and impeccably clean, with a bed as comfortable as you'd expect in a good four-star hotel. The owners were very welcoming, and they speak good English. A true five-star experience.

We came for lunch with two families and little kids, arriving half an hour late for our reservation, but they still welcomed us so warmly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere wonderful. Thank you, Lorenza, for a lovely time and lunch. Grazie mille!
