Such a lovely, quiet place.

Asti is about a 15-minute drive away, with lots of towns and villages nearby to visit. We had a wonderful stay in this quiet spot, where the apartments and the separate cottage sit up a hill about 20 meters apart. The owners are friendly, live on site, and speak German and English. There is shaded parking on the property. When we're in Italy, we always want to come back for the peace, a swim in the pool, and the owner's excellent homemade wine. Highly recommended!

The cottage sits up on the hill with a lovely view, and it's a short walk downhill to the pool. Paulo, the owner, gave us an enthusiastic welcome. The surroundings are very peaceful, and his own winery makes really good wine. The cottage was reasonably clean. Highly recommended.

The welcome was excellent, which makes the rest all the more disappointing. Our room had mattresses that left us with back pain, and the rooms were spartan, very neglected, and not cared for at all. It wasn't a very nice experience.

A beautiful, peaceful location, and the owners are friendly and easy to chat with. Their pets were just as welcoming too ;)
