The beach area was quiet and a lovely place to unwind, and the hotel was a perfect spot to relax on the coast during our hectic trip. The rooms were a bit small, but clean and comfortable, and the showers were amazing. Staff were super friendly and ready to meet every need, even bringing umbrellas during an unusual rainstorm. The CALEA Hotel was top-notch, easily the best place we stayed in during our three-week tour of Italy. Bacoli didn’t seem much like a tourist town and didn’t have quite the charm of some other cities we visited, but the hotel itself was fantastic.

That rooftop bar has views in every direction. I spent ages looking for somewhere good to stay around Naples, and I’m so glad I found this hotel. The owner works on site, which made it feel more personal, and he was always checking that people were happy and enjoying themselves. My room was beautiful, spotless, and had a private terrace overlooking the sea. There’s a lovely private beach with a bar, and I liked being able to order drinks without carrying my wallet. I just gave my room number and settled up before checkout. The restaurant food was incredible, and breakfast was just as good. They even packed breakfast for me when I had to leave early. I told some tourists on the bus, and they were as envious as I was. The staff were so kind and accommodating, and everyone I spoke to spoke English really well, which helped since I embarrassingly don’t speak Italian. Clean, lovely rooms, great food, a fantastic beach, and some of the friendliest people I’ve met at a hotel. If I come back to Naples, I’ll stay here again. Thanks for making the trip one I won’t forget!

We’d definitely come back. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic, with sweet or savory choices that were both very good. The homemade pastry was especially outstanding. Our room was spacious and clean, and the location right by the beach is perfect. The hotel had only just opened when we stayed.

The rooftop has a spectacular view, and the whole Amandine hotel is brand new and really lovely. Our room was super clean, with retro chic decor, and the service was exceptional from the warm welcome at reception onward. The staff were efficient and devoted. I can’t say enough good things about the place. Not a single complaint! Long life to this new boutique hotel.

There didn’t seem to be much to do in the area, especially since it wasn’t really beach season, but the hotel had everything I wanted. It was so good that I extended our stay for a second night. The place is stylish and spotless, everything feels high quality, and even breakfast was great. Book the sauna ahead, though, because they don’t take walk-ins and we couldn’t get in. Naples is a 45 minute drive away. We went for a quick Michelin pizza experience, a good choice if you’re tired of relaxing and want some chaos. As soon as I’d finished eating, I came straight back to the hotel to spend the rest of the day looking out at the sea from the rooftop with a Negroni and a book.
