Camping Baia Paradiso

The beach was lovely and quiet, about 350 m on foot, with bars where you can get drinks. We stayed four nights in mid-September, three people with two tents. There were beautiful pitches under the trees with plenty of shade, and good spots to tie up hammocks. Electricity was available throughout the property, and our fridge, phone charging, and water boiler all worked well, apart from one interruption. The showers had hot and cold water, and there was even hot water for washing dishes. They have solar panels. The sanitary facilities were great for the price and cleaned daily, and the cleaning staff were very kind. There were barely any mosquitoes. Once the electricity stopped for a few hours; reception staff were friendly and helpful, and fixed it reliably as promised. I'd recommend staying here!

We were traveling with our 2-year-old and found the campsite really kid-friendly. The grounds are fairly flat and set back from the road, so kids could run and ride bikes freely. It was relaxed, with lots of other families around. We only stayed one night. The toilets and showers could use an update, and the camp layout is a bit odd at first, but once you figure it out, it's quite nice. We didn't see the beach, but the pool was nice.

The pitches are spacious and nicely shaded by pine trees, though I imagine they may feel a bit close to neighboring campers in high season. For what's offered, the prices are fair. The campsite is fairly large and close to the beach. There are clean toilets with toilet paper and free hot showers. The bar is open during the day for coffee and drinks, and you can buy bread there too. There's also a restaurant. The pool is a nice extra, even if the water feels about as warm as the sea. Once you're in, it's comfortable enough to stay. There were some mosquitoes. Check-in and checkout take a while, and the free WiFi doesn't reach the whole campsite.

Traveling in a Fiat Ducato campervan, we found the pitches shaded but irregular in size, with some small and others much too large. The beach was a wonderful one, about six minutes away. The toilet block was clean and well kept. There's a small shop with a limited selection and an attached bar, both excellent value. We also had a great dinner at the restaurant. Four different spaghetti meals, a salad, roasted vegetables, two puddings, a bottle of spumante, and four large beers came to 110 euros.
