Hotel Tofana

The ski-in, ski-out setup was perfect. From the ski room, it’s only a few meters to the slope, and on the return you can ski nearly to the hotel door. The ski room lockers are convenient and high quality, and there’s ski rental in-house. Hotel Tofana was brand new, just a year old when we stayed, and looked stunning. The modern design was stylish, everything was spotless, and the rooms felt thoughtfully put together, with fantastic views, a very comfortable bed, a great shower, and high-quality amenities. Service was impeccable. The spa was one of the best experiences I’ve had, and the fresh, beautifully prepared food and breakfast were top-notch. It is expensive, but for this quality and experience, I felt it was worth it.

We came for four nights of hiking and loved our stay. The town is small and peaceful, and the modern rooms look out toward the mountains. There’s also mountain scenery from the small hot tub and the roof deckchairs. The owners and staff were very friendly, and free parking was available. We booked half board and were impressed by the hotel’s attention to the food. It was high quality, with vegetarian options, a good breakfast selection including fresh squeezed juices, and excellent dinners with fantastic desserts. We were surprised by an extra dessert buffet with fruit and a wide range of sweets, including the best creme brulee ever. On Sunday evening there was also a complimentary glass of prosecco with appetizers. The hotel really tries to make guests’ stays enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a good choice of food. The staff were helpful when we asked for bike route ideas, and you can rent a bike or use the secure bike room. We loved the spacious, modern rooms and the incredible views from the room, roof, and sauna.

The hotel is about 500 m from the slopes rather than right on them, but having the ski room at the slopes made skiing easy. Everything was so well organized, and the place has a great vibe. Vito, Franco, Medea, and Silvia were especially warm and kind, and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable.
