The Palazzo Neapolitana worked really well as a base for seeing Sicily by bus and train, since it’s close to both stations. Our check-in went smoothly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The road outside gets busy and can be noisy, though we still slept well. I’d stay here again when visiting Palermo.

The location was the one good thing. We found at least four roaches in the room, and it smelled bad. The place was horrible, and the staff were even worse. Whoever the manager is didn’t seem to care about our safety or comfort. And if you’re expecting local food, forget it. The food was like jail food. DONT DO IT TO YOURSELF!

We hardly slept because the street was so noisy. The apartment felt a bit spooky, and we only dealt with the host over WhatsApp. I wouldn’t recommend it.

There was nobody there, and all I found was an old building under construction. Nobody asked me anything or returned my money. I lost my money and got neither a room nor a solution. It IS a scam. MAFIOSOS

Basic, but you get what you pay for. There’s a fan rather than air conditioning. The location is handy for the station and the airport transfer bus.
