B&B Palazzo Corselli

The host was really nice and always had helpful recommendations and tips. This is such a cute, stylish B&B in an old townhouse. Definitely recommend it!

The old building is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, bright, and pleasant. But the street gets noisy, especially at night, and there’s no elevator. The steep, uncomfortable stairs were tiring, as you’d expect in an old building. There are several practical things missing from the rooms. The bathroom has a towel rack but no other hooks, and the shelves are awkward and not enough. The floor wasn’t particularly clean. There’s no kettle, no glasses, and no self-service drinks. The refrigerator had just two small bottles of water and barely cooled anything. The air conditioning blows directly toward both beds. The pillows were the worst part. If you need them changed, you have to catch someone in time, since nobody is there after 7:00 PM. It may suit younger guests who don’t need much. It’s a shame, because the building’s look has clearly been thought through, but there’s little attention to the comforts that are common now. It wouldn’t take much to fix these gaps and bring out the property’s beauty and potential.

Giorgia looked after us professionally and warmly, and made a generous, delicious breakfast. The place was clean and set in an elegant surroundings, and we had a pleasant overnight stay. We also really enjoyed the aperitif and sushi dinner. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the vegetarian choices had lots of fresh, tasty flavors. I’d choose them again next time I stay in Bagheria.
