Villa Oltremare Resort

My sister and I were given a spa and couples massage package, and we both found it relaxing and enjoyable. The place was clean and well cared for, and we were welcomed with smiles and such kindness that it felt like being at home. Thanks again, we'll definitely return.

The food was all delicious, with an incredible range of starters, main courses, and pizza. We booked the full board, spa, and massage package, and I had a fantastic day. I loved the wellness program, the massage, Finnish sauna, and hot tub, with tasty prosecco and appetizers. The masseuses were fabulous, and the friendliness and kindness were top notch. We'll definitely be back. Food 10/10, staff 10/10, cleanliness 10/10, spa 10/10, massage 10/10. Recommended!

Silvia and Filippa gave an outstanding massage. They were professional, well trained, and excellent, much better than at other spas I've tried. Unfortunately, that was the only part of Villa Oltremare Resort that lived up to expectations, and I wouldn't return. I was responsible for booking a stay with another couple of friends, and the overall experience was very disappointing. The place looked neglected, almost abandoned, as soon as we arrived. Our room had a badly chipped desk, and the old bathroom was poorly maintained, even down to a rusty wastebasket. That felt especially disappointing given the considerable price. The so-called spa was the worst of it. The hot tub's rim was black, like dead skin, and its water smelled bad. The counter-current tub was cloudy and smelly too. It felt unhygienic, not relaxing. There was no spa atmosphere, with no suitable music or soft lighting. The emotional shower was just a shower with colored LEDs. Fake grass covered the tub edges and shower floor, and it was soaked and smelled bad. The relaxation area had wooden chaise lounges that were so hard and uncomfortable, we couldn't relax and even got headaches after a few minutes. Breakfast also felt restrictive: we were told to eat by 9:15/9:30 so the room could be prepared for lunch. It was simple and sparsely stocked, more like a B&B than a resort. While we were still eating at 9:30, staff began clearing the buffet in front of us, which felt unwelcoming and inelegant. We paid €235 per couple for the "Orchidea" package, which included a spa treatment, overnight stay, massage, and breakfast. For the quality of the overall experience, that seemed excessive.
