The restaurant does a great job too, using fresh local ingredients that the cooks clearly know how to work with. The place itself is beautiful, surrounded by nature in a restored old "borgo". The road getting there is worth knowing about, though, and I'd avoid it in a low car. Our best experiences were walking around the other 4 borghi and rafting on the nearby river. Highly recommended.

After walking from Bagni di Lucca, we dipped our feet in the river, which was a delight for the senses. Before that we had a panini at the garden kiosk, then went to the main restaurant for dolce and a spritz. A lovely visit.

The village was amazing, absolutely gorgeous, with delicious food and distinctive products made on site. Vanilla was such a lovely host. We had a dream of an adventure with rafting, a zip line and paragliding. Strongly recommend!

What a little gem, the photos really don't capture it. The place is a recently refurbished old village, and we stayed in the Diva room-apartment. It was charming and romantic, with the river right in front, and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and it had a small fridge, hairdryer and AC. We went canyon water trekking from here with a lovely guide based by the river, and it was fantastic.

Terme Bagno Bernabò recommended this little gem and booked us a table. When we arrived, we discovered the restaurant was opening just for us. We had an amazing meal by the fireplace, with fantastic service from Erica and the chef Daniela. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.
