The beds were the big problem for us. Both mattresses in our room caused awful pain in our backs and necks, and really need replacing with something more up to date. Apart from that, it’s a very nice place. It’s cozy and quiet, with mountain scenery around and a beautiful view from the window. Christina and Hugo were hospitable hosts who were ready to help, offer us something, and come to our rescue in any situation. If you’re booking for a longer stay rather than one night, be prepared for the beds.

We stayed here while my girlfriend was studying Italian in Bagno a Ripoli, and the location worked perfectly. The school was a 15-minute drive away, and we drove 20 minutes to Parking Exchange Europa, where we left the car for most of our visits to Firenze. There’s a bus stop not too far off and a restaurant down the road. Breakfast was continental, with fresh bottled water each day, plus coffee and tea. AmazingGreve in Chianti is about a 50-minute drive and well worth a visit. We’d stay again, highly recommended.

These quiet, cozy apartments have a Tuscan style and a very good price. It takes about 30 minutes by car and bus to reach central Florence. The hosts were extraordinarily kind and helpful.

We got to pick olives with some help, and the hostess made us feel very welcome. The countryside setting is peaceful, but Florence is close by. It was a wonderful, memorable stay, and we’d go back in a heartbeat.
