Casa Ruffino

We ended the evening watching a lovely sunset from the hotel terrace, after live music led us to have dinner at the restaurant. The food was fantastic, and Victor and the rest of the friendly staff gave us excellent service. Earlier, we enjoyed a wine tasting and then relaxed by the pool in the warm weather. At arrival, reception welcomed us warmly and we could go straight to our rooms. They were comfortable and well equipped, so we felt at home. The relaxed, cozy atmosphere made the stay especially enjoyable. Thanks to the whole team for an unforgettable visit. We look forward to returning.

Our room overlooked the vineyards and felt dreamy, and we were made to feel very special on our honeymoon. The restaurant was delicious, and the wines were incredible, especially the sparkling rosé. Alexandro was an excellent guide for our wine tour. We were disappointed that the pool wasn't open yet, since it was one of the reasons we chose this place; we would have liked to know beforehand. Even so, we had a lovely stay and highly recommend it.

Tre Rane was a highlight: the young chefs Fabio e Daniele put a talented spin on iconic Tuscan dishes, with outstanding presentation, excellent flavors, and a perfect pairing with Riserva Ducale Oro. We also had a terrific tasting at the Ruffino wine shop, where Sara took wonderful care of us while presenting both new releases and some iconic wines. Chiara gave us a lovely welcome at reception, and our beautiful villa room looked over the lush Italian garden and Ruffino Merlot vineyard. It's only 30 minutes from downtown Firenze, yet the setting has the Tuscan scenery of grapes, olive trees, and cypress trees we had dreamed of. A full immersion in an enchanting Tuscany dream. A great hotel if you'd like a change from a typical Tuscan stay, with several art styles brought together in one place. The coffee at breakfast was below average.
