This was our second stay at Le Civette, 17 years after the first, and we enjoyed it just as much. Le Civette is a special, very quiet place away from the craziness of Florence. Marco was gracious and went out of his way to make things right, just as he did for us in 2008. I highly recommend staying here.

The pool and the view are perfect, and you can hear the birds about 20 minutes away from central Florence by bus. The ride is easy and costs less than €2. Marco is a pleasant, engaged host, and the location gives you plenty of nature while staying close to the city. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed, with a well-equipped kitchen and the option to BBQ outside. It all costs less than half as much as a small room in a central hotel. Great host, location, comfort, and value.

Marco made our stay really comfortable, and we loved the service. It's a perfect base for visiting Florence, but really nice and quiet too. The pool and view are amazing. Our apartment had a cute Italian style, and we liked having air conditioning.

I've spent three weekends at Le Civette over the past two years, even though I live in central Florence. Each stay feels like a proper getaway. Just minutes from the city, it's a relaxing taste of the Tuscan countryside and an easy escape close to home. Highly recommended, including for locals!

The apartments are welcoming, clean, and well maintained, with a real Tuscan countryside feel. I also want to thank the owners for giving us a genuine break from our urban routine. The atmosphere, the exclusive feel, and the view from the pool are undeniable, and the value for money is excellent.
