George made our stay feel extra special, and the Suite Ciampolini was fit for a princess, with its own direct access to the pool area. I’ve never felt so relaxed. Four nights still didn’t feel like enough at this beautiful place, where the hospitality and service were incredible. I hope I can visit again.

With just seven rooms, this beautiful 14th-century villa is wonderfully quiet, and the Tuscan hills look breathtaking from here. It’s also close to central Florence. Every little detail of the property felt lovely, and we had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was on the small side, but we didn’t feel anything was missing. We’ll definitely return.

We didn’t have a car, so the villa’s tucked-away location made the owners’ help with taxis and drivers especially useful for wedding events, meals, and getting around. We were there with family and friends for our son’s nearby wedding, and the pool was a perfect place for everyone to gather throughout the day or evening. Emiliano, his wife, and Carolena gave us magnificent service and hospitality. We also enjoyed the daily breakfasts, the modern conveniences, and the care put into this historic villa. Thanks for giving our memorable vacation such an awesome start.

The scenery is gorgeous and the hotel is beautiful, but it’s missing some basic conveniences, including a restaurant and transportation. Getting taxis or arranging a rental car was difficult, despite what the website information suggested. We’d also been promised rooms downstairs to help my father, who struggles with stairs. Instead, when we arrived, we were put upstairs and on the other side of the hotel from my parents.
