Galina S.
The beach at Tora is lovely, with hotel umbrellas and loungers, and the water is especially nice. The rooms were spacious, large, and well kept too. Beyond that, I found the place disappointing. Naples is an hour away, and aside from the bus there isn't convenient public transport. Tora could work if you mainly want the beach and aren't concerned about the food. There were plenty of staff, but none seemed able to manage even basic English. Guests came from Poland, Germany, Bulgaria, and elsewhere in Europe, so with a question you needed Italian or good hand gestures. And the food was hard to enjoy. Breakfast was the weakest and most tasteless part. Dinner came from a filled-in menu and always included pasta, sometimes with potatoes, broccoli, peas, leftover seafood, or sandy mussels. Meat and fish were delicious on some evenings. If choosing between BB and HB, I'd take bed and breakfast and skip breakfast.
