The garden and its grill were a lovely extra, especially for spending evenings outside. I also appreciated that the place welcomes dogs, so my four-legged friend could come along. I felt at home as soon as I arrived at Doride in Balestrate. It’s close to the beach but still quiet enough to relax, and everything was comfortable and welcoming. I can’t wait to return!

We spent five nights here as a family and had a great time. The owner was really nice and cooperative, and could give us good recommendations for exploring western Sicily. The beach is only a short walk away. I’d definitely recommend this place.

We spent a week here, taking it easy by the lovely pool and exploring the area. Nino was very helpful whenever we needed anything. There are plenty of nearby places for dinner, and we’d recommend visiting Scopello. It’s a lovely spot to sit by the sea and read. The sunsets over the pool were beautiful, and having two showers and a massive bed felt like a real holiday treat. A lovely base for seeing western Sicily and relaxing ☺️

We got so comfortable here during our six days that we even considered cancelling our next trip to the Etna region, just to enjoy the views and calm a little longer. There’s a wonderful beach nearby, lots of cafes, and a delicious pizzeria just 100 meters from the apartments. Nino was responsive, punctual, and attentive. Delizia is a little gem by the sea, just right for anyone who loves being close to the water. The apartment picks up the colors of the Sicilian sea and land, and its garden feels like a small, relaxing oasis overlooking Balestrate beach on the Gulf of Castellammare.
