The place was clean and spacious, with everything needed. It's furnished in an older style, and the gas stove takes a little getting used to, but it's perfectly fine. There are several listings around here, so I can't be sure this review is for the right one.

The apartment is large and the Wi-Fi works. That's the only good part. We arrived to a filthy place: limescale on the toilet and shower head, black grout in the shower, and the mop was black after the first time we cleaned the floor. Maintenance seems practically nonexistent. Broken things were left in the living room, including a fan that didn't work, an unusable television, a coffee table and other furniture. The bathroom door frame was damaged and broken too. It's unacceptable to rent a place in this condition. It fell far short of expectations, and I strongly advise against booking until there's a real effort to clean and maintain it.

Away from the usual tourist route, this quiet area gives you a chance to experience authentic Venice. The location is excellent, close to Piazzale Roma and the San Basilio vaporetto stop. The apartment is a little dated, but functional!

The furniture is old and broken. There was no microwave or wine opener, and there are lots of mosquitoes with no repellent provided. There are fans, but they're broken, and there's no air conditioning.
