Appartamento Curnet

The long corner balcony was a highlight for me, with lovely views of the surrounding landscape. The apartment in Balme (Cornetti) is charming, and nearby attractions are easy to reach. I had a good stay without any particular problems, and the owner was available if I needed anything. There’s no reserved parking, but I never had trouble finding a spot nearby. The front door doesn’t shut all the way, leaving a large gap where cold air can come in. Still, the pellet stove supplied by the owner kept the indoor temperature pleasant during my stay. The place looks nice and has the essentials: linens, towels, dishes, kitchen utensils, and appliances. One thing to know is that you can’t use the stove while the oven is on without cutting the electricity. The bathroom is small, with a toilet, sink, and shower. Its door doesn’t lock from the inside, so someone has to lock it from outside. The water heater is small, which means keeping showers short, though it refills after about twenty minutes. For drying your hair, I’d use the owner’s hair dryer since it runs on low voltage. There’s a TV with good reception and free Wi-Fi. I’d recommend the apartment for a couple.
