Sergio was friendly, helpful, and spoke good English, which isn't something you can take for granted in Italy. We also had a parking space on site. The apartment was much bigger than the one we'd booked and had a lovely view. It was spotless, from the floor and toilet to the towels and bedding, so I didn't miss having my slippers at all. There were two duvets, though one would've been warm enough, plus complimentary biscuits, jam, and delicious baci di dama. The living room and kitchen were spacious enough for far more than a couple, even a party of thirty. I'm not sure whether Wi-Fi was available since we used mobile data, so you may want to ask.

Sergio and Luisella are such welcoming hosts, with great recommendations, and the apartments have everything you need. I come to Piedmont every year and stay at the agriturisma Rio Sordo each time. It always feels like coming home. Highly recommended.

What made this stay special was getting to know the area more deeply, through its history, traditions, and everyday rhythms. The owner shared useful advice, stories, and ideas about what to see and how to experience it. The welcome felt sincere and attentive from the start, warm without ever being formal, and the owner's enthusiasm and readiness to help made a real difference. This was more than a beautiful place to sleep. It became a meaningful experience I'll remember for a long time. I'm grateful for the care and love the owner puts into welcoming guests, and I'd recommend this agriturismo to anyone looking for an authentic connection with the area and a warm human touch.
