The food itself was good, but the service was chaotic. We ordered the next evening’s meals each night through the system, yet I can’t remember a meal where everything came out right. Breakfast was just as disorganized: the hot water wasn’t switched on before service, so the whole queue had to wait for the first person to boil an egg, even if everyone else wanted something different. The biggest problem, though, was the boot room. It seemed to serve around 100 people but had seats for only two and rack space for about 30. It was in a smelly corridor, which made it hard to get in, out, or past anyone. That alone cost the hotel two stars for me. The hotel was otherwise fairly standard, with the usual room layout. The hot tub, general cleanliness, and convenient bar were all good points.

What made the stay for me was the staff. Georgia at reception was kind and accommodating, gave us ideas for things to do, and helped with all our questions. Mateo, one of the waiters, started greeting us in Greek when he found out where we were from, which made us feel welcome. We also ate well here, with delicious breakfasts and dinners at the hotel restaurant. The rooms were clean and looked out over picturesque Canazei. A really nice hotel, and I enjoyed my stay.

After a day skiing in the Dolomites, the sauna, steam room, and two jacuzzis were a great treat. Hotel Bellevue was wonderful, and the location was hard to beat. The customer service was outstanding too. Miriam helped us so much, was an incredible host, and spoke very good English, which made everything easy and smooth. Thank you, Miriam!

The buffet area was ridiculous, just chaotic and poorly thought out. It needs to be repositioned. The food was very average too, even though the hotel itself was good.

The rooms were fine for sleeping, and the staff were friendly. The food was OK too, but there wasn’t much more to the experience than that. Having to pay 6 EUR to borrow a towel for just one hour seems absurd. And 10 EUR to use the spa area felt like a rip-off, especially since it was only a small room in the basement.
