We stayed for 2 1/2 weeks. The setting was fine, but getting there was a real challenge. That road is no place for a sports car 😀. The furniture felt old and wasn't in the condition I'd expect for the price, especially the bed. The pool worked for the kids, though some shaded space would have helped.

We felt completely comfortable the whole time. Tommaso was always friendly, helpful, and easy to reach, and the neighbor was lovely too. The house has everything we needed, with Italian character and a quiet lake view that made it easy to relax.

We were a group of twelve, and there were plenty of bedrooms for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed apart from a gas stove, which wasn't an issue. We spent time eating and playing games in the dining area, with its fantastic view, and the pool also looks out over a great view. There's a shaded cover by the sunbathing area. The lake is a short drive away, and Pisa, Florence, and the coast are around 30-60 minutes away, making day trips easy. The landlord was really kind and helpful, always answering questions and sharing tips with real enthusiasm. It's a wonderful holiday home with the character of an old Italian building.

We had such a good week tucked away in nature, far from the bustle. Tommaso was on hand whenever we needed help. And the neighbor's adorable cat was a lovely extra.

The terraced outdoor areas aren't suitable for children to play in, and reaching the farmhouse means tackling a VERY BAD uphill road. I wouldn't bring a low car or bikes on the roof. Our Volvo station wagon scraped the ground several times, and a sports car simply can't make the trip. The recently renovated farmhouse itself is spacious and welcoming, set in a forest where deer and foxes are often seen.
