San Bartolo

We only had a couple of days here, but we’d happily come back if we’re in the area again. The pool and views were amazing, and we enjoyed wine from their own winery. It’s a cozy, clean place in a great spot for visiting Tuscany. The host was really friendly and shared useful tips for getting around.

The place was peaceful, clean, and well looked after, with an amazing view. Our host was so sweet and helpful with everything. It’s also well placed for trips around Tuscany, including Florence, Pisa, and Siena. We loved our stay and have already planned to come back.

The pool was okay, though it could use a clean and some repairs. The courtyard is shared, so expect other people around when you sit outside. The kitchen was hard to use for dinner because the road is just inches from the building. Inside, the so-called living room is cramped and only really works for two people, definitely not four or more. There’s a bathroom on each floor, but the one upstairs is tiny, and flushing the toilet is quite an experience. If you want somewhere quiet and relaxing, keep looking. We’ll never return, and honestly think others who stayed here may feel the same. Lesson learned: don’t book somewhere beside a busy road.
