The hosts’ kindness and care made this such a memorable stay. They’re the nicest people we’ve come across on our trips, and their positive energy made us feel looked after. Our ground-floor apartment stayed cool during the very hot spells. It was spotless and well kept, with all the essentials, a spacious living room, comfortable beds and a tip-top bathroom and shower. Outside there’s a lovely area with big couches, tables and gazebos, all very chic and modern. Just a few steps down a pretty alley are shops, restaurants and the amazing turquoise lake Barcis, where we had our best swim ever. We’d come back to relax and reset if we didn’t live so far away. Many thanks for a fantastic experience! One suggestion: blinds in the living room would be the cherry on top, since sometimes you want to stay in bed without the sun urging you up.

The couple who run the place are lovely, attentive, kind and welcoming. They were happy to answer our questions and offer tips. We stayed three nights and had a perfect time. It’s a fantastic base for little walks around the village, hikes and kayaking on the lake. Highly recommended!

The owners are lovely and speak English, German, Italian, French and even Farsi really well. The hotel is brand new, with clean, modern rooms, heating and AC, and a perfect lake view. There’s lots to find nearby, from beaches and mountains to beautiful lakes. It’s a true gem in Italy, and the best value for the price in the area. If you want to relax and recharge, this is the place to go.

The owners were really accommodating and helped us with everything we needed. The setting and views are great, though there aren’t many places to eat nearby. Maniago is only a 12-minute drive away and has plenty of options.
