You feel at home with Nadia Oddone and Dove! The food is fresh and homemade every day, and the tiramisu is world class. The peaceful surroundings and cozy family atmosphere made for a really relaxing time in Bardineto. It’s close to the coast, with Loano 20 km away and its long beach and promenade. San Remo is 60 km away, Monaco is nearby, and Genua is 70 km away, along with plenty of other lovely places. We found the train from Milano to Loano easy and comfortable. Rent a car and enjoy the area. I want to come back soon!

There are plenty of well-kept walking routes nearby, and you can explore them on foot, horseback, or by bike. It’s a peaceful spot away from the city, and families can stay in the apartments and eat at the farmhouse restaurant. The food is homemade in the traditional way, and the owners and staff greet everyone warmly. It’s also a good place to bring your four-legged companions.

I’ve spent my working life as a chef and restaurant manager, so I’m usually quite critical when eating out. We’d been to the Fratelli Oddone Farmhouse in Bardineto before, but this was our first time there for a special occasion, Christmas lunch. Every course, from the starters through dessert, pleased me and my family. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure the table had water, bread, and everything else. Homemade herbal liqueurs at the end were a lovely extra, and a little snow made the day feel even more Christmassy. Thank you, Mrs. Nadia!
