Hotel Caesius Thermae & Spa Resort

We especially enjoyed the daily strolls beside the water on the beautiful boardwalk. The location is fantastic, peaceful and private, and just right for relaxing walks. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and we appreciated how good the resort was for kids. It made things comfortable and stress-free for our family. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Caesius Terme & SPA Resort, and we’re already looking forward to returning. It’s a stay we’ll always remember.

The pools, thermal pools, including two saltwater ones, and spa are the hotel’s strongest features. Everything was well maintained, tidy, clean and working properly, so there’s plenty to enjoy for a full day of relaxation. My only complaint is that some areas are for naturists only. The Turkish bath has several rooms with different temperatures and humidity, some for nudists and some not, so that wasn’t a problem. But there’s only one beautiful, spacious Finnish sauna, and you can’t enter wearing a swimsuit. I didn’t notice this when booking online. I couldn’t find a notice on the website, though perhaps I missed it, and the photos show people in swimsuits or large towels, so I wouldn’t have guessed that some areas were naturist-only. The website should make it clear that swimsuits aren’t allowed in those areas. I stayed three nights over Christmas in a comfort room in the main hotel building, with half-board. The room was spacious, clean and practical, and had a balcony with a table and chairs. Breakfast buffet was very satisfying, with good quality and a wide selection. Dinner wasn’t to my full liking in every case, but I’d still call it very satisfactory overall. It also comes with a buffet of appetizers, fruit and desserts, so nobody should leave hungry even if the main dishes aren’t quite right for them. The hotel had live music in one bar in the evening, a great option since a lakeside walk isn’t recommended in December. I’m very satisfied with the stay and plan to return.

The staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Everyone was kind and helpful, some of the best hotel staff I’ve ever met. The breakfast deserves a special mention: everything was fresh and delicious, with so much to choose from. It was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had, honestly. The spa was another highlight, clean, relaxing and well cared for. The whole hotel feels new and modern, which made the stay even more comfortable, and free parking was a nice bonus. I loved my time at Cesius Bardolino and left already thinking about coming back. Highly recommended.

The lake across the road is beautiful, with a lovely area to walk and restaurants nearby. We made good memories here during our stay at the end of March with the kids. The rooms were clean, staff polite, and the pools and grounds well kept. The buffet had plenty of variety. A few things needed attention: the tea and coffee supplies weren’t replenished, the kettle didn’t work, and our spa towels weren’t changed. At the restaurant, we couldn’t get clear guidance as vegetarians, and staff identified some dishes incorrectly. Alex took responsibility straight away and personally made sure we got the best service possible. Thanks to him.
