Hotel Residenza Alighieri

I've spent holidays here several times over the years, and the location keeps making it an easy choice. Bardolino's center is an easy walk away, and the hotel has its own parking right next door, so there's no need to hunt for a space in peak season. Breakfast is good and quite enough. Most rooms also have a little rooftop terrace where you can eat it.

I booked two double rooms in writing, but when we arrived there was only one room for four people. The woman then shouted at me loudly. With the high price, it was already bad that we couldn't use the terrace because of an extreme infestation of bugs. I'll never book there again. Absolutely unfriendly, I can't recommend it.

The breakfast is very extensive, though if you show up late, around 9, there's not much left. The location is good and the room was nice, but the double bed is only 1.60 m wide and the shower is so tiny you have to be very slim to use it. I've never had such a small shower. Even at a very cheap price, this place isn't for me again.

Free parking and tasty breakfast served from 8-10 am were a plus. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the room was lovely with a big balcony, though the bathroom was rather small. For a two star hotel, it was much better than we expected, especially given the prime location.
