We could see Lake Garda from our third-floor apartment, less than 100 meters away. It was one of about 12 apartments kept clean by a charming, always cheerful woman. The hotel is very tidy, and the owners run it with real dedication. It has an Italian feel, with an early 70s style that isn’t modern but holds together nicely. Breakfast was much more extensive than expected and delicious, and there’s a small bar. Parking at the hotel was easy. The promenade takes about 20 minutes to reach Bardolino’s lovely old town. Being between two enormous campsites wasn’t really an issue, though there’s a bit of a party resort atmosphere. There’s no beach, and getting into the water directly in front of the hotel is difficult, with campers occupying every bit of space around it. For an impromptu Lake Garda trip, it’s very good value and highly recommended.

The hosts were young and very friendly, and for a two-star hotel the breakfast was very good, served in a lovely setting. This is a great value place to stay, and we’d happily book again. The location, in my opinion, is the best on Lake Garda: about 100 meters from the water, between Bardolino and Garda, with several lawns for sunbathing along the shore. Both towns are an easy 20-25 minute stroll on a beautiful lakeside promenade lined with great bars. The free bicycles are a bit old and rickety, but fine for a leisurely 15-minute ride to stunning Lazise. Rooms range from adequate to very spacious, all with large balconies, and some on the third floor have lake views. There’s a small kitchenette in each room, though the equipment is basic. We only used the fridge and sink. A large lawn has a small pool and loungers. Some furnishings in both the rooms and pool area could do with an update.

The owner was so friendly and accommodating, and we had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean and spacious, and the hotel sits in a beautiful spot. Breakfast was generous, with everything you could want. Garda and Bardolino are both within walking distance.

A really nice family-run hotel with excellent breakfast and a one-of-a-kind lake view. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and our room was very clean and tidy. Garda and Bardolino are both close enough to walk to. We’ll definitely come back. 👍Schröder/Burghofer
